The Earth is warming and progressively melting Sea Ice worldwide.
Earth’s Southern Polar Ice Cap has been progressively melting over the past 40 years with about 2,400 GigaTonnes of ice lost.
Melted Sea Ice blends into the ocean Sea water, and this progressively raises the Global Sea Level. In total, Antarctic ice could add 60 metres to Global Sea Level.
